Hannah is a senior research analyst with the youth development team. She earned her MPH in Maternal and Child Health from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Child Trends, Hannah was a research instructor at UNC Center for Women’s Mood Disorders. While there, she worked on research activities for various studies on maternal mental health and served as program manager for a Health Resources and Services Administration funded rural health program to improve screening and treatment of perinatal behavioral health disorders through consultation and telepsychiatry. She has previous experience working with youth and adults with severe mental illness, program development aimed at reducing potentially avoidable Emergency Department use, and community health improvement. Her research interests include youth development, reproductive health, mental health, health equity, community health improvement, and systems transformation.
